Last Man Standing rules
- ⚽Each gameweek, pick one Premier League team you think will win.
- ❌A win puts you through. A draw or loss knocks you out.
- 🔒You can't pick the same team twice. If you've used all 20 and you're still in, every team becomes available again.
- ⏰Picks lock at the gameweek's first kickoff and stay hidden until then.
- 🤖Missed the deadline? You get the next team you haven't used, alphabetically.
- 🍀If everyone left loses in the same week, they all survive, but that team still counts as used.
- 🌧️Postponed or abandoned match? You survive that week, and the team counts as used.
- 🔁Optional buy-back: one per player, at least 24 hours before the next gameweek.
- 🏆The last player standing wins. If more than one survives to the end of the season, it's a tie.

What is Last Man Standing in football?
A knockout prediction game. Each gameweek every player picks one Premier League team to win. Win and you go through; a draw or loss and you're out. You can't use the same team twice. The last player left wins.
Is it really free?
Yes. Running a competition and playing in one are both free. If there's an entry fee, the organiser arranges it directly with their players.
How do I run a Last Man Standing for my friends or club?
Create a free account, name your competition, choose your link and start gameweek, then share the link. Players join in seconds and pick a team each week. Results and knockouts are handled automatically.
What happens if someone forgets to pick?
They're given the next team, alphabetically, that they haven't used yet, so nobody goes out just for forgetting. Everyone also gets reminders before the deadline.
What if everyone gets knocked out in the same week?
They all survive into the next gameweek, but the team they went out with still counts as used.
What if a match is postponed?
If your team's match is postponed or abandoned you survive that week, and the team counts as used.
Can I use it as a fundraiser?
Yes. Collect entry fees your own way and keep track on a private paid / unpaid checklist. Clubs, schools, pubs and charities use it to raise money. Five-Goals never handles money. Organisers are responsible for following local rules on entry fees and prizes.
Can I start mid-season?
Yes. Choose any upcoming gameweek to start on. Entries stay open until it kicks off.
Can one person have several entries?
Yes. Add named entries for family or friends, manage all their picks and pay once.
Are there buy-backs?
Optional. If the organiser sets a buy-back fee, a knocked-out player can buy back in once, at least 24 hours before the next gameweek.
Do players need an app?
No. It runs in any phone browser and can be added to the home screen with push notifications.
